Are you saying if "You" don't think it's funny...then it can't be funny to anyone else? That's what's wrong with so many hypocritical, conservative, arrogant people. Either you agree with them (Republicans) or there is something WRONG with you. Do the Republicans have the patent on what is "RIGHT" and what is "WRONG", what is funny and what is not?.
Lighten up people...Sykes, told the truth. Rush is a drug addict, and he has no problem with calling people names "Barack the Magic Negro"..excuse me, and he never apologizes for what he says. The sad thing is he has a following...the former VP says Rush would be a better Republican leader than General Powell...Give me a break. You are worried about what Sykes said as a joke?
Let me respond to both of your comments at the same time. First of all, Rush Limbaugh spews hate for the Democratic party in general, and for our President, Barack Obama, in particular. I listen to his ridiculous commentary almost daily(only for comic relief), and wonder how he got any kind of 400m contract. And two, Wanda Sykes is one of most original and brilliant comediennes in the business. She is by no means washed up. You(sir or madam), or is it sir and madam, are very ill-informed with no true sense of humor.
I'm not a big Wanda Sikes fan, but what she had to say was FUNNY. The "kidney failure" shot over-the-top (probably best said at a comedy club, not this event), but Rush's statement that he hopes America fails under Obama...OVER THE TOP. As in basketball, with 2 flagrant fouls neither team gets a foul shot.
